Tweeter....

E-mail Print PDF

Google removed the share functionality of Google Reader to push Google+, I'm really upset by this choice cause I used that functionality for sharing news and articles that I thought were interesting on this website.
Today I've thought that twitter could be a effective replacement for it, so from now onward I'll be a twitter user too.

Is Microsoft going to buy Skype?

E-mail Print PDF

There are rumors that Microsoft is about to buying skype for $7bn, my only worry is that this could mean the end of Linux support (like it happened before).

Let's hope for the best

Keyboard layout madness

E-mail Print PDF

Why do keyboards manufacturers keep changing the keyboards layout?

It's easy to find a cheap keyboard with a standard layout for less that 5€, but if you want a quality, silent and stylish keyboard (the ones that cost 50€ or more) you start having difficulties.

It seems that manufacturers think that the key disposition can be sacrified for adding buttons that most user don't ever touch! For casual computer users and gamers this could not seem an issue, but when you use a computer for work 8h a day layout differences mean to push the wrong key an the worst times, and this is frustrating!

I have to buy a new keyboard but till now I'm unable to find a comfortable keyboard that has a standard layout.

Out of Facebook will I be the last one?

E-mail Print PDF

Back in the 1996 I could keep in touch with all my friend (the one with internet access) using e-mail and ICQ, then (in 2001) it comes MSN and after its inclusion into windows XP, ICQ slowly started to become silent (for me). Thank to a universal client I was able to use both, but eventually I had to left ICQ.

Now everyone is moving to facebook, and my msn contact list is becoming empty, I'm not going to subscribe to facebook, there many reasons why I don't like it, so this time I'l just wait "next step".

New iPhone still no microusb!

E-mail Print PDF

It seems to me that the new iPhone still doesn't have the micro usb connector for charging in violation of the European regulations.

There are speculation that the euro version will have an adapter but IMHO this is just a cheap way to circumvent the law disappointing the purpose of the regulation.

But apple users don't care.
